Verlisia

I'm Verlisia, the eyes behind this journal. By day, I am an engineer with a deep love for problem-solving and creativity. By night, I am a maker who love transforming fabrics into something functional and beautiful. During my travels, I am a passionate explorer, treasuring vibrant and unforgettable experiences.

As an introvert with a love for adventure, I find joy in immersing myself in the stories behind food, culture and nature. Life, to me, is about appreciating the small details, and Hungry Teapot is my way of capturing those moments-one bite and one photo at a time.

Gears

My go-to is Sony a7C Mirrorless + Zeiss FE 2.8f/35 lens. I prefer a compact unintrusive setup that does not distract. Canon EOS R6 + RF 1.8f/35mm macro lens is my other setup. This is what I usually use when when I am also doing other kinds of photography during a trip. Occasionally it would be just my iPhone Pro Max when I caught myself in a rare situation without a camera.
